Ingredients
Filling
- 1 29 oz Can of Pumpkin
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 12 oz Can of evaporated Milk
- 3 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
Top Crust
- 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 cup butter (melted)
- 1 cup Pecans (chopped)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix pumpkin, salt and eggs.
- Add evaporated milk, sugar and spice.
- Pour into lightly greased 9" x 13" inch pan.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over mixture in pan.
- Top with Pecans.
- Pour butter over all.
- Bake approx. 1 hour at 350 degrees covered with aluminum foil. Remove foil and bake for 15 or 20 more minutes.
Recipe Notes
One tip I have, is to flip the crust (which is on top) over onto the plate when serving. Then put the whipped topping on top of the filling. Makes it much easier to eat!
