  1. In a saucepan under medium heat “water” fry the chopped or diced onion and diced garlic until the onion gets softer and partially translucent.
  2. Add the smoked Paprika, cumin and oregano. Mix it in well covering the onion and garlic.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste and tomato sauce as well as the apple cider vinegar and the worchestershire sauce. Simmer for a couple of minutes while constantly stirring with a spoon or spatula.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 more minutes to let the mixture thicken. Add pepper as desired.
  6. Remove from heat and transfer to a container. Then refrigerate until the mixture is luke-warm or cold. After which you can use an immersion blender and blend until very smooth.
  7. Make sure it is very smooth!
  8. Add to condiment bottle for use!
Recipe Notes

Or you can put some in a small dish and serve with some nice oil-free roasted potatoes! Also don’t be afraid to modify the recipe by adding other spices.
